Unpause Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

1. Consumer health data we collect

• Menopause stage you select.
• Symptoms you log, including hot flashes, night sweats and their intensity.
• Sleep hours, sleep quality and awakenings.
• Mood and stress levels.
• Habits that relate to your wellbeing: caffeine, alcohol, screen time.
• Whether you took your usual medication or supplements (not what they are).
• What you write in journal entries and assistant messages, to the extent it describes your health.
• Insights the app derives from the above.

2. Why we collect it and how we use it

Only to provide the features you ask for: tracking, insights, the assistant, reminders, sleep scheduling, crisis referral, and points. We do not use consumer health data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

3. Where it comes from

Directly from you, when you enter it in the app, and from the app's analysis of what you enter.

4. Who we share it with

• Our service providers acting on our instructions under contract: Amazon Web Services, Prisma Data, Inc., Google, Mistral and OpenAI (see Privacy Policy, Sections 6 and 7).
• Our affiliate Healplace, which operates Unpause under a services agreement.
• Authorities, only when legally required or to protect someone's life or safety.

We do not share consumer health data with anyone else, and we never sell it. Leaderboard participants see only your username, avatar or photo, and point total, not your health data.

5. Consent

We ask for your consent to collect consumer health data in a separate step at signup, apart from accepting our Terms. We will ask for separate consent before sharing it for any purpose not listed above. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app; this stops further collection, and you can delete what we already hold.

6. Your rights

You may confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data; access it and get a list of every third party and affiliate we have shared it with, with their contact information; withdraw consent; and delete it. Use the in-app tools or email privacy@unpause.ai. We respond within 45 days, and you may appeal a decision as described in our Privacy Policy, Section 10.
