Unpause Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Unpause account and all the data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
How to delete your account
In the app (fastest). Go to Profile > Data & Privacy > Delete my account and data and confirm. Deletion starts immediately.
By email. If you can't get into the app, email account-deletion@unpause.ai from the address on your Unpause account with "Delete my account" in the subject. We will send a confirmation link to that address before acting, so no one else can delete your account. If you no longer have access to that email, write to us and we will verify your identity another way.
Before you delete
You can download a copy of everything you have logged using "Download my data" in the app. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play; cancel that in your app-store settings.
What we delete
- Your account and profile: email, date of birth, menopause stage, username, avatar or photo, and preferences.
- Your journal and wellness entries: sleep, mood, symptoms and habits.
- Your conversations with the assistant.
- Your points and leaderboard entry.
- Your reminders, notification settings and sleep-schedule preferences.
What we keep, and why
- A minimal record that your deletion request was completed, and anything else the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.
- Aggregated or de-identified data that can no longer be linked to you.
How long it takes

Guest users
If you used Unpause as a guest, your data is tied to that guest session and is removed when the session is cleared. Email account-deletion@unpause.ai if you need help.
